Container Liners and Protection
High Quality internal liners can be supplied to protect the integrity and cleanliness of the shipping container the Liners are suitable for a wide range of dry bulk materials such as bulk chemicals, foods and minerals and animal skin trade.
Shipping lines will no longer tolerate contamination of the containers. Shipping goods that may contaminate the container can result in hefty cleaning bills making a deposable liner the most cost effective method to ensure there are no cleaning penalties. More importantly is the potential for leakage which can result in large fines and additional on charges for offloading and in severe cases prosecution for committing an offence under the shipping regulations.
The material of the liner is crucial to ensure the potential of leakage is minimised the JP Liner in 20ft or 40ft HC not only meets the shipping companies requirements it has strong flexible bungee fixings top and bottom, that provides easy fitment with single person fit ensuring no material folds or creases.
*Typical Shipping Company minimum specification for composition of liner material:
a) Polythene liners must be at least 300 microns thick
b) Woven liners must be at least 100 gsm with 10 threads per square centimetre and double-coated with plastic
c) Other materials may be used, provided they are equally robust and equally leak proof
d) All liners must be welded with a seam at least 30 mm wide to prevent sections of liner coming a part under the stress of loading.
