Adrian James, 42 year old father of two from Nottingham, buried a container in his back garden using a mechanical digger and then proceeded to establish a cannabis factory. The container was linked by a 16ft tunnel from his cellar and covered by 3ft of soil.
Cannabis plants worth more than £80,000 were discovered in the man’s back garden, including a high-tech watering system to help him to cultivate his crops.
Police were given a tip-off and raided the house in October finding the shipping container measuring 20ft by 8ft. In all, an estimated £86,000 worth of cannabis plants were seized in the raid on his house and container.
