If you haven’t heard of BOXPARK Shoreditch yet, you haven’t got much longer to experience this amazing retail and leisure venue.
BOXPARK is a pop-up shopping and leisure mall in Bethnal Green, London, and it’s constructed entirely of stripped and refitted shipping containers. The brainchild of founder Roger Wade and opened in 2011, the mall is only due to remain open until next year, and it’s quite a place!
It allows the creation of low cost, low risk pop-up stores for fashion and lifestyle entrepreneurs and has also attracted the attention of global brands who have opened outlets in the shipping container mall as well. There are plenty of food and drink outlets too and a rolling calendar of eclectic events, from yoga classes to DJ nights to, well, regular taxidermy demonstrations!
BOXPARK is simply a unique shopping and dining destination making the most innovative use of shipping containers right in the heart of London. So if you’re in the capital any time soon, try to visit this amazing place whilst you’ve got the chance. Because once it’s gone, it’s gone.
