36 shipping containers will be used as homes for the homeless in Brighton. The land currently being used as a scrap yard will be converted into the housing location by Brighton Housing trust.
Chairman of Brighton Planning Committee, Councillor Chris Hawtree said:
“I hope this scheme will highlight what is being done to assist those who for one reason or another have been down on their luck and found themselves on the streets.”
