Module construction and insulation
JP Containers’ modules are manufactured in both carbon steel and 316 stainless steel with insulation that is specified to meet A0, A30, A60, H60, H120 and Jet fire standards. All our containers are authorised in accordance with Lloyds and / or DNV (Det Norske Veritas) rating.
Boxes that are to be used for permanent installation on an offshore rig can be fabricated in stainless-steel. This is of particular importance when considering the corrosive effects of offshore conditions.
Before assigning a container, DNV schedules and conducts a design review and then monitors construction of the container at our site. DNV requires boxes to be built in a more robust ‘heavier’ material with a suitable paint finish.
